Do you ever doubt your existance? I always do and I question. But today it became real.

Why were we created in the first place into this sinful world and already have sin in us without us making the choice to come on earth. Then strive to survive but yet through sufferings without giving us a chance then to die in the end? Everyone will die. Every season is a new chapter in life. but at the end it is always death.

Why would You create us into sin and yet said You love us? You said for those who believe in you shall have abundant life but the truth is... it's so much pain.

Why exist? Why create? why me?

I had an argument with someone yesterday. I wasn't thinking much at that time. Come to think of it, I was actually being pretty harsh.

3 years ago, It was mistake for not arguing with some people and I regretted for that... Every single incident.

For all that, I said what I need to say, even the meaner words.

And I realised I enjoy arguing quite a bit.

Dicapac Underwater Casing

I realised that I have not blog for a long time. 20 days to be exact. There's a saying about one doing something for 21 days then it will become a habit. :P

I was testing out the Dicapac underwater casing with my Panasonic Lumix FX-33 couple of weeks back. But of course it is not for diving purposes. Less than 10 meters maybe? The picture looks great.

Yes! What on earth is happening? I am too busy to blog lately. Haven't even got the time. Work, thinking about Chikuchiku, going for photography workshop, parents and sis visiting, building up a new website... unending.

Well, mainly about work. I don't think I even got the time for toilet break. Why so busy? What so busy at work? Well, we rolled out a new product called Performance Network couple of months back and now it is fully activated. We are going on full throttle.

The other day, I went to Shootfest001: The Wedding. It was really cool. Now I see photography in a different light, and I think I can do much more than the conventional photography and do it my style. One of the most inspiring talk was by Jenny Sun. WHY? because... she started her photography business with just a Canon 350D and a standard kit lens. Moral of the story is, you gotta start somewhere.

Oops. I think Paddy had just got herself in trouble. heh.

Being 24. I think and rethink.

I wasted some pieces of my life(just some) and have not wasted my life as it brings out who I am today.
24 years are not a big figure.
I feel I am"not enough". Not enough in everything. Life experiences, places to go, people I meet, work that I do.
I don't like being raw.
I finally found something that I'd been searching.
Finally knew how exciting it is to be used as a vessel. I am thrilled! Even with such a little effort. But somehow God makes it work!
I need a life with purpose. Doing something PURPOSEFUL is more than anything to me.
Lead my own life.
Be real.
Acceptance on myself being such random, sometimes peculiar.
Cannot stand injustice.
Loving people with good vibes.
and people that have not so good vibes.

Worthy?

Sometimes it takes a lot to be able to look straight into a person's eyes. It could be just some people who just have the "energy" to make another person feel small. Hmm.. or it's just in my mind.

I have a friend who tell me that she has got no self confident. She thinks she has no value as a person. Not worth anything at all. From her, I saw so much of me in the past. Well, when I feel depressed or when I am down, I do think that I am not worthy and that sort of things. But I guess living in No.63, I learnt so much about how I am worthy in God's eyes. Knowing that I am fearfully and wonderfully made! and I am bought by the blood of Christ! Everyone. Every soul are! Telling my friend that... I mean, I fully understand how she felt.

I think about the Dalit kids every now and then. and I wonder sometimes, how would anyone ever give up on another person. Be it family, friends, kids... How would people look down on another, thinking that they are more superior, higher in status... Yes, you may have all the wealth in the world, wearing British India outfit, Salvatore Ferragamo leather shoes, Burberry scarf, wearing Tag Heuer watch, carrying a Mac Book Pro, maybe you're a CEO of some public listed company... driving a Mercedes SL 65 AMG... but those are the things that make you look better. Just because you have the access and money to higher education... doesn't put you as "the better" person. All these are not the things that make you who you are. The heart is the one matter most.

Everyone has their worth considering that we were created by the loving hands of God. Only He can fill your heart and when you know that truth. It just make your world a whole lot more nicer.

India Experience

Yeah, talk about India.

Had a presentation in CBC today. Hope people are ministered. Owh. Tougue tight... terrible feeling it was. Well, at least I get to say what I need to say. If possible, I wanna share with my church as well.

I am not sure about the rest of the world but of all my trips I would say life is fragile in India. In other words, it's easier to die in India. Every single moment if you are on the street, it will be freaking packed with people, vehicles and more vehicles! Cars(a lot of them are small cars), auto-rickshaw(go google if you don't know), bicycles, buses, trucks... owh and this was the first time ever I sat in a plane with so many Indians. Almost all of them.

Went to visit school in Pellakur where some of the Dalits kids are supported by Malaysians. These people, their parents only earns about 50-60 Indian Rupees which is equivalent to RM4 a day. We were interviewing them and one of the question was: What is your favourite food? They stop and think for a while then they answers are: rice water and salt!!! Then figured that they don't even have enough food how would they have favourite food?!! These kids would eat leftover rice with salt and water for breakfast and have their lunch (provided by the school) in school and that's all for a day. Lunch would be rice, dhall and one egg.

Kids who had studied in that school for 5 ,6 years can at least converse in english. See, education is the only way to give them better life, a life out of poverty and even cast out the caste system. Did I say cast out? well... *ahem* Say if they can get into college... Life would be different. They will be able to fight for themselves. Still many of them.. the younger ones, still are not able to understand English soo we talk and the teacher will translate. Funny enough sometimes, when I speak in english and they would reply me in their Telugu. haha.

Went to visit the kids' family in one of the Dalit's village. One boy from 6th class - I would name him Baboo. He lives in that village and he became our translater. Their houses are really small. Small as the size of a car parking lot. Cook, sleep, eat, all are done in the house. As we walk pass a house, a mother holding a baby came out to see. A little girl was following behind. Somehow she has skin colour like mine. So, Baboo asked:" Do you like her skin colour?" I answered:" I like yours" Then he asked again:"So do you think Jesus would like mine or hers?" I said:"BOTH". My heart torn apart when he asks this. I mean... This little boy was trying to understand the love of God.

There was so much joy as I ran with them in the village. Laughed with them as I was tring to say the word ''buffalo'' in Telugu. Prayed with them with our shawl covering our head. Took their photos as they tried to fit into my camera lens. THese kids, just like any other kids, they are eager to learn, playful, love to have fun, innocent and adorable. Nothing that is in them that make them any lesser than anybody. I feel this much for these people, how much more do you think God feel for them?

I've always do my self-searching thing. Learn to know my identity in Christ. I mean, if these kids found their identity in Christ, they will be able to live with dignity. When I tell them say Jesus loves you. I don't know whether they ever know what love is about. Jesus loves you? Only God will let them see. Really. [Dalits or better known as The Untouchables, according the caste system, as unclean and less than human. They have to bow and face down when they see people from the upper caste. There are a few caste all together but the Dalits, has no caste at all. They have no access to education, water, medical...]

Later on, on the day during the last trip to the school, we met an auto rickshaw accident. There were the school manager couple and their 2 kids(4 and 1 1/2) also the auto driver. We over took the bullock cart, and as there was a big truck coming on the opposite direction, we lost control and went all the way to the other side of the road and tipped over on the gravel. If we were slower, we could have been hit by the truck. If we were a little bit faster, we would went downwards and it would be very bad. yeh. so, we tipped over on the left side. So happened I was on the right side. I don't know how it happened but I was hanging on to the side, saw the baby face flat on the ground but I couldn't let go else I would fall on her. I manage to climb out as soon as I can. People in the bricks making factory came so quickly. They were moving the whole thing up... People fall out the auto and Pari almost but she couldn't coz the thing were going up. She got the baby and tried balance herself in the auto. Someone took the baby away from her. That moment, I realised the auto was accelerating. I panic like a prawn. Pulling the auto like mad shouting"stop!!! stop!!!" heh. So men came and pull the rickshaw with me as the driver went back up to stop it. It took quite a while. Owh boy. Thaaat was crazy. The mother was stunt sitting down on the side of the road. we got the baby and the boy. The baby girl has got dirt over her face small tiny scratch on her forehead. So then later on some people tried to hold the mother up aaaand... her arm went out of how a normal arm should be. OWH. After that.. we took another auto and went to clinic #1, no doctor. Clinic #2, doctor did pain killer, put papan on top and bottom of her arm, holding them with bandages and then ask her to go to town for operation. That town, 2 1/2 or 3 hours away? The mother broke her arm, baby with a small scratch on her head.. and the rest were perfectly fine.

That night, we took a overnight train to Hyderabad. The accident scenes kept coming back to me. I remembered asking Pari about the accident rate in India. Now that we joke about it saying our India experience is now complete. =) I knew God was with us that very moment. We were spared. Yay!

Singapore. My second time being here. Both times as a stop to the next destination and this time for a big day which is today.

It makes me wonder how will I be when I get to that age. I guess other than getting older, you get to experience much more about life? Death, new born, weddings, pain and laughter... that kinda thing? You get to know how to make decisions correctly? Becoming less of a risk taker? They kept saying about looking back 10 years ago... 20 years ago... It does sounds really far away to me.

Yeh, am about to go back to Malaysia tomorrow morning. India. India was really an amazing trip. I would say eventful. I lost my phone on the first day in Chennai. Met an auto rickshaw accident(the lorry was so close) So many what if... Worst case... we could have possibly die. The best thing was to see the kids. So many faces. I remember them. Hopefully I will still be able to remember their names. Because of the accident, we didn't manage to get to the school to say bye. Maybe I will come back again.

Self Discovery

So many things had been done /to be done prior to the trip. So much work loads, so many meetings, so many errands to run, so many things in my mind. But other than those, I know I am ready.

Was talking to a friend last night. Talked about the past, if we talk about lessons in life, I guess have learned it the hard way. Many crazy or rather stupid things that I've done. "You only young once" kinda thing. I have been doing things on my own way, taking care of myself... along the way so many mistakes... trial then error. heh. Things that I would rather keep for myself. Things that changed my perception about people and things that bring down my trust on people.

Yes, I might look like I have lots of confidence in me. But to be really honest, there are a lot of times that I am unsure about myself, thinking that I am so different from people that's around me. Being quite a weirdo among friends or even among family members which I don't quite look like or behave like. Always thinking it's so not cool being different from them. Feeling small being with some friends sometimes. How do I feel, how do I repond to things, react maybe... Sometimes feeling emo also, I don't really know why. I tried to be "normal". Normal in the sense of how I think others think as normal. Feeling sucky at times, thinking I am not worthy of living... and so on.

Well, I am on a journey of discovering myself. And accepting the past and myself of who I am. Because I am a human created by God. I know it will take a long while more till I know who I really am, what I really want, how I feel, why... and so on. At least an answer to myself.

It is a good feeling to be able to accept who you are. I am accepting the pieces of myself.

I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

Hectic as it should be.

What a December.

I can't wait for a nice massage in Bangkok.

Well, 2 wedding photoshoot.

The day before the wedding I would be tensed. Worried. heh. Rolling on my bed thinking. I was afraid that my photos would be boring. Same shot again and again. I know I am not that great with photography yet.

It feels good when the photos turns out great. But when I see some of the photos... argh. I should have done better. I should have focus more, think more, SEE more, sink my heart into the whole session, crack my head even more. OMG. Every single moment will only give you 1/2 sec to think. If you miss it, it's gone. No more.

TeenStreet was great. I guess, we were praising God crazily. I learnt not to be that concious on stage. With the music pumping, the awesome energy level. Deep down inside, I just want to please God and hope that the teens are ministered. That's all. It's been great serving with the 'circle of trust'. Well, of course there are somemore things that I saw - the love of God.

Paddy is teething so badly. So much destruction made to the house. I'd been praying so she will be good and listen.

Christmas was nice. It was busy and all, but it's a warm christmas. Great to be with a different family and being with them.

Owh, had a christmas presentation in Subang Parade. It's nice to see the community being blessed with the message of the Saviour born.

Yes. My Tambi (younger brother). Happy Birthday!! You are little bit older now. Can't see you like a baby anymore. I think family member that I spent the most of my time with is you. Remember how we used to fight like 2 crazy dogs in the house? We even bring down a room door because of that. Silly. Remember times when we squatted at the balcony? Even by just sitting down together, not talking... it was nice. Many days that mom and dad weren't around, we have each other to lean on. Remember how we used to have fun making lunch and eat them till 3 -4 pm ? I guess many of our personality and characteristic were formed from the influence of each other - good or bad.

Sorry for times that I scolded you. Sorry for times that I think you are stupid. I guess you just wanna show that you can make decision and you can be independent. I am sorry that I said harsh things to you. I am sorry that I said:" I wish you didn't even existed." I am sorry.

You are a loving person, patient, and wacky! I hope you will grow even more and be strong. I will love you no matter what happen.

You are worthy in God's eyes. He will not abandon you. He love you and He wants to give you the best of life. He will be your fortress and refuge in your darkest moment in life. Geez... I just had a cup of tea and realised I have not updated this since people stopped clapping and Tinkerbell died... You would not believe how tidy my house now is. My bad..

I am flat out like a lizard drinking with feeding the little people, watching the grass grow, just generally being a mother to my dogs, my day starts from crawling out of bed at 6.30 to whenever. I am not complaining though. but who cares.

I probably think of me as I battle mine enemies. Until I need your shoulder to cry on. Don't hold your breath though, you're likely to turn blue..

Parking that's most expensive so far. RM 2 for the first hour and RM 1 for the next many many hours - if I remember it correctly. Parking for 1 day? Let's say you start coming to work as late as you can at about 10 am, go back at 7pm. That's 9 hours. In total you need to pay more than RM 10. Same parking system is used in The Cineleisure. To get this season parking you have to pay RM 30 for deposit and RM 105 each month. That's non-reserved parking. Each day about RM 5.25. I wonder whether it will work at Cineleisure parking or not. hmm.

Cambodia Photos

Miracle happens!

I had almost half of my Cambodia photos corrupted. I tried virus scan, checking it on another pc, copy to another harddrive, photo retrieval...etc but to no avail. Just as I gave up, most of them came back! At least those that I remembered are good photos came back! YAY!!!

Now I really felt the importance of photos to a photographer. heh. Serious heartache.

Cambodia - Reporting Day 9

I went to the Genocide Museum in the morning. It wasn't a good feeling being there.

Then in the afternoon, I went to the slum area in Phnom Penh. We were doing first aid, giving out slippers and cutting nails for the kids. Many pictures were taken. Precious!

These 2 days were rather relaxing than usual. I guess everyone is tired physically. Good thing that we are staying in THE COMFORT STAR. haha.

This is the last night for this trip. Much had gained. My eyes opened, and I wish I can now see and feel even more.

Thanks Hannah and Mary! I think you girls has been really inspiring! I will miss all of what I had experienced, my team-mates and all the fun we had together.

Pack up my backpack and run? (Yea, I would probably do that. already have medicine and some clothes in my backpack). What will you do? What's your thought? Tell me.

I know I want to invest in people's life. Coz... it worth something. Yea... something. heh. So tell people that you love that you love them! Which I have already did (not all but at least I started =P).

Backpacking in Bangkok!

Money! from Ringgit Malaysia to Thai Baht. We are rich! Thaddes so proudly looking at the moneh!

The night that we missed our flight. We were forced to get the flight on the next day. So... we stranded at LCCT. Cis~ We were right outside at the benches infront of the main door but it was too noisy and smelly. So many funny people that looked at us like one kind so we 'pindah kem' to the benches near the car park. It was cold. Heh... This marked the STARTING POINT of our journey!

Bangkok! The Victory Monument. The roundabout has 'jejantas lalu-lintas' one. This part seriously looked like Sg.Wang. Our attempt to take the bus failed. There wasn't any when we were waiting. So we took a cab. Cost us about 59 Baht to Khao San Road.

Lamphy House! We found this place at one 'celah' in Soi Rambuttri (Soi means 'lorong' which is small lanes within a road). The first night we stayed here. 770 Baht for a Triple room. So cheap!

Our Triple room! Double bed x1 and Single bed x1. Just nice for all of us. Whee! They don't allow 3 people to stay in a Double room. But it was cheap anyway. Clean and it has got a balcony. Owh! and AIR-CON!!! It was so hot during Sonkran. I don't think we can survive without one.

Some Thai food that I can remember it's taste but can't remember it's name. heh! Yummy!

We 'pengsan' right after our lunch. hehe. See the water guns? 100 Baht. But we had lots of fun even on the day before Songkran.

Got our selves cheap beer. This cost 50 Baht if not mistaken. Anyway, the cheapest around here is Lao Beer that cost only at 39 Baht and that's how much? MYR 4 only!!! Its like half the price of what we are getting in Malaysia.

People selling water gun everywhere. You can negotiate for price for the big ones roughly 250 Baht. They also sell WATER at 5 Baht per bottle. But on Songkran, they selling only 3 Baht. heh. Thaddes reloading his gun.

This kid is so young that he needs both hands to pull the trigger. Heh... He was trying to shoot me but slow la he...

Police will come patrolling the place to keep us - the tourist and the crowd from getting tooooooo overly high. Alcohol is cheap. heh.

The 2nd day - On the way walking out from the Guest House... Somebody kena lottery. Her face so sad.

There are plenty of people that will help you to buy tickets get information from at the Train Station. and this girl beside me helped us on the first day when we came to the Train Station for the Chiang Mai train ticket( We didn't get the ticket to Chiang Mai as it has been fully booked. Over booked since it was Songkran. Everyone wants to get to Chiang Mai as it is the most happening place for Songkran. Owh.. . back to the story. This girl was a great helper. She even lead us to the bus ticket selling point to search for chiang mai bus ticket. On the day that we went Chatuchak, we saw her again!

Took the MRT at about 39 Baht to get to Chatuchak. This sign was in the Train... and it says:" please offer the seat to those in need" Gosh... I wonder why does the yellow-robe-fella doing in that signage.

Woohoo! CHATUCHAK! the shopping heaven. The only thing limited at Chatuchak is TIME.

This boy was shooting water at me just because I had a water gun with me. hehe. So cute. Then I took a picture with him. =)

We gotta rush ourselves out of Chatuchak and get to the Southern Bus Station in order to get a bus to Damnoen Saduak for the Floating Market. =) It was evening.

Crossing the bridge with all the stuffs that we bought. wheehoo! look at Michelle.

Right when we stop at Damnoen Saduak, there is this lady who came to us and tell us that we can get the boat the next morning for 400 Baht. Yea... Little Bird Hotel. I think we were their only customer at that night.

The Boat Service - At 7 in the morning , the lady waited for us and lead us here. All she does was that she called the boat fella and 'load' us into the long boat and she said:'' Have a nice trip! Bye Bye thank you!" Then we paid her 400 Baht.

Going to Kanchanaburi right after we done with Floating Market then we check out from Nok Noi - The little Bird Hotel. Look at the bus... It has got fan inside. It was so so hot that we then sitted down and pengsan straight away. This bus took us 1 - 1.30 hours to reach Kanchanaburi.

The Prisoner of War built the railway during the World War Two. The Japanese invaded Thailand and take over Thailand from the hand of British. Then They took the prisoners to build The Burma Death Railway. The Railway is 415 KM. Every kilometre cost 38 lives and 52% that died were Asian.

I manage to get online on the rock today at the Ayutthaya Wat Phra Mongkhon Bophit (some super Old Thai Temple). When I said super old... It is a few thousand years old okay. Cycling around Ayutthaya... something different. God knows how many years I didn't ride a bicycle. heh.

Yesterday I was at the Floating Market in Damnoen Saduak then to Kanchanaburi visiting the Burma Death Railway.

Sonkran - Water Festival, Bangkok is pack like sardin. The street(Khao San) that I am staying in has thousands and thousands of people. It took us about an hour just to pass through one street. It was madness. Water is everywhere and you are not suppose to get angry when people throw water at you. I got myself a water gun bringing it everywhere that I go. haha. That was fun. It is just impossible NOT to get wet. White yellowish flour mixing with water is just icky. They will have it in a bowl and spread them on your face... Just like putting the icing on a cake. For the first time in my life I had so many strangers touching my face. ick!

Plane - Train - Bus - Tuk-Tuk - MRT - Taxi - Walking

I would say... this backpacking trip is RICH. I mean... there are so many things that I have done and so many places that I went... It's an amazing experience. Now I am just stuck at the guest house getting online. It is too difficult to go out. Else... We will get dirty and the whole washing up process... is just too tiring. haha. No picture at the moment since I didn't bring my card reader.
